An aged metallic effect statuette of your dog (or other pet) created from a photo. The best results are achieved from a side profile photo with your pet's head turned towards the photographer. It is best if the background is simple and there are no items obscuring any part of your pet (even grass covering legs). See example photos below to give you an idea of the type of photo required to create a good quality 3D mesh file. If you don't have a suitable photo we may be able to source a representative photo of your dog's breed that could be used. The photo will then have the background removed and be run through a 3d mesh generator to create a 3d print file. Photos of the 3d mesh would be provided to you to approve before we proceed to printing. It can sometimes take a few photos to generate a suitable 3d model so please don't make payment until you are happy with the model. After printing we apply a primer base and then use a dry brush technique to apply the metallic paint (gold, silver, brass or copper) to achieve the aged look. Due to the amount of pre and post processing please allow a couple of weeks from ordering to completion of your statuette. Statuette dimensions are a maximum of 15cm in any direction with variances due to pet body. The maximum of 15cm is to keep courier costs as low as possible.
