I developed the whelping planner to suit my own needs and have made it available to other breeders. The planner is sized A5 so I can easily keep handy in the whelping pen and transfer records into my computer program later when I have a quiet moment. The planner becomes a great keepsake to look back at past litters and compare to current. The planner is discbound which means you can add, remove and move pages without taking the notebook apart. As metal mushroom hole punches and/or refill pages can be expensive a simple single sheet plastic mushroom hole punch has been included. It does provide a pretty rough cut but this is largely invisible when the page has been added to the notebook as the rings cover / hide the cutouts.
