Here's a bit of fun since I've already had some guesses given to me.
How many pups do you reckon Hydi is carrying, and to make it more, challenging how many of each gender?
We'll know the number by x-ray on 3 Jan and gender will have to wait until D-day 🙂
And to aid in your guesses:
Hydi's mum, Rebo, has averaged 8.3 pups per litter
Hydi's partner, Billy, has averaged 6.25 pups per litter serviced

This might seem a strange item for puppy preparation. One of the puppies is destined for work at a truffiere so I'll be starting the process of truffle scent imprinting and identifying which pup shows the greatest aptitude.

Living rurally as we do I enjoy the sight of a hawk lazily circling overhead. I do not like the thought of them seeing a young pup as prey tho. Thanks so much to Jade who found this great covered run on sale for me. Just perfect to give young puppies a safe outdoor experience.

Today at Hutt Valley breed show. Another good outing for Hydi who achieved another challenge as best bitch and reserve runner up of breed.
In the group lineup photos is Bacci's littermate Paddy with Dora.
