I use a grooming hammock to trim my dog's nails and sit on the floor underneath. It is hung from a door frame using a baby jumper clamp. The problem with just a single clamp is that the wriggly dog's tend to spin. To solve that problem I have added a 2nd clamp. The cheapest way to obtain these is to source 2nd hand jolly jumpers, there are heaps for sale. They're rated to approx 15kg so are fine for the weight of a lagotto. Also just replaced my nail clippers which have become blunt. Quite useless on Billy's tough
This would have been such a fun activity while we had the grandkids staying recently.

This weekend was spent competing at the central region obedience benefit show. It was training only for Rosie whose attention became better through the weekend. Quite a challenging environment for her. My 2 schnoodles (Cooper and Piper) did well in their Rally-O competitions. She can no longer compete in Novice, will now be an Advanced B and Excellent A dog. Piper did credit worthy work for 2x qualifying certificates. She only competed in
Rosie has been undergoing puppy scent training for a while. Recently we started her on holding a cloth, picking it up , walking with it and presenting.
Having mastered these parts this week she has started on full scent training. I am super proud of her today in just her 2nd full scent session that she identified the hot scent and bought it back to me without needing a hold command being given.
This bodes well for truffle hunting when we get around to planting.Billy is currently away on holiday in the company of a lovely 'lady'. He's getting to enjoy all sorts of new entertainment at this 'Resort' that he doesn't get at home - romping in mud being one of them. I am promised that he will have a spa treatment (aka a bath) before he comes back to me next week.
I will update you about who to contact for puppy availability once pregnancy has been confirmed.
