Puppies

I adhere to Dogs New Zealand Breeders Code of Conduct. All puppies will be pedigree registered with Dogs NZ (aka NZ Kennel Association), be microchipped and have had their 1st vaccination before they move to their new home.

Because my passion is dog sports (obedience and Rally O), breeding for temperament is of paramount importance to me. To aid in producing well rounded, confident pups I follow the Puppy Culture program.

The first 16 weeks is the period in which comprehensive socialisation will have the greatest impact. You can commence/continue socialisation beyond this age but progress will be much slower. Socialisation involves so much more than introducing your puppy to people and dogs. Click here for a socialisation guide and check list.

I also place great importance in ensuring genetic diversity in my breeding programme. My litters will all have a maximum pedigree COI (coefficient of inbreeding) score of 10.

From Aggie's Daycare - "Super confident, respectful of other dogs - this is incredibly well reflective of her breeder. It's not often we have pups come in as happy-go-lucky as her"

You're an amazing dog breeder Nicky - light years ahead of the kennel where we purchased our 2 Goldies. So, a huge thank you to you and Simon, we feel extremely fortunate to have Gracie as part of our family.

You've done an amazing job making this doggie such a delight - I'm so impressed seeing her with other dogs. Pity that most dogs are not at all sociable. She's very brave and I'm a proud mummy when I see her with others.

You SO deserve what you have achieved to date … Your ‘parenting’ of Hydi and the pups has been exemplary; thanks so much for setting things up to be a ‘win’ all-round.
